Corporate Updates
Nov 5, 2024

Accumin has acquired energy and sustainability consultancy Zero Consulting. With offices in Barcelona and Madrid, Zero Consulting specialises in advising on sustainability in real estate development projects (design, simulation and parameterisation in BIM technology, circularity and carbon footprint) and the management of sustainable buildings with low energy consumption, as well as consultancy for the certification of LEED, WELL, DGNB, BREEAM and VERDE projects (measurement and approval).
Although it operates mainly in Spain, Zero Consulting has begun to internationalise its activities, with projects in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. (More info at www.zeroconsulting.com).
Accumin thus expands the scope of its energy services in international sustainable certification, in the analysis of sustainability from the origin of new building projects and in the study and improvement of the energy performance of buildings and their life cycle.
Sustainability is one of Accumin's strategic growth areas, an expertise presents in its three business verticals: Value & Advisory, Intelligence & Software and Risk Management. Accumin has positioned itself as one of the leading companies in this field, both in energy performance certification in Spain and Germany and in the analysis of energy efficiency data and natural and climate risks for many European financial institutions.
"We are delighted to add Zero Consulting's expertise to our family. With their help, we are adding new capabilities to offer 360º coverage in sustainability applied to real estate assets. The sum of knowledge and diverse perspectives under the global Accumin brand makes us the best partner to support citizens, companies, the financial sector and the public administration in the goal of promoting efficient and sustainable buildings and urban environments"

Global CEO of Accumin
In Spain, Deyde DataCentric by Accumin (part of Accumin Intelligence) has been chosen by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITERD) to design, build and validate a unified database of energy certificates at national level.
Accumin Intelligence’s technological capabilities are supported by the knowledge in energy consultancy and the housing market of Tinsa España by Accumin, the largest real estate valuation company in the country, which has carried out more than 110,000 energy performance certificates since they became compulsory in Spain to sell a home or rent a property. Tinsa España by Accumin has helped thousands of homes to benefit from Next Generation funds totalling €7.8 million for efficiency improvements that have reduced their cooling and heating demand by an average of 7%.
"We are delighted to add Zero Consulting's expertise to our family. With their help, we are adding new capabilities to offer 360º coverage in sustainability applied to real estate assets. Artur García, CEO of Zero Consulting, points out: "Joining forces with Accumin is a new challenge that will allow us to offer our sustainability consulting services to a wider portfolio of clients and in geographies where we are not yet present. It is a great opportunity for the whole Zero Consulting team to growth and consolidate, contributing our know-how in sustainability consulting and offering our own software tools developed for life cycle analysis and nZEB building design to a much larger number of clients".
