Sustainability as a driver of real value at the RICS Built Environment European Summit 2025

Sustainability is no longer optional, it has become the foundation of real, long-term value in the built environment.

A few days ago, Arturo García Cifre, CEO of Zero Consulting by Accumin, took part as a speaker at the RICS Built Environment European Summit 2025 in Budapest, where he addressed the growing impact of sustainability and ESG policies on property valuation.

During his presentation, Arturo highlighted how data-driven strategies and decarbonisation plans enable investors and asset managers to better identify opportunities, prioritise investments and transform assets into high-value, sustainable buildings that benefit both occupants and owners.

His contribution underscored the increasing relevance of “Sustainable Valuation”, a forward-looking approach that integrates financial performance, environmental impact and long-term resilience into real estate decision-making.
