Chile Incoin report 2Q 2026

The latest Incoin report studies Chile’s metropolitan region, where it records a recovery in the housing market for the second quarter of 2026. A total of 4,863 homes were sold, representing a 1.7% increase compared to the previous quarter, although activity remains 4.5% below Q2 2025 levels. The recovery has been driven primarily by improved financing conditions and strong demand for homes with immediate delivery.
Demand continues to concentrate in the most accessible market segments. Homes valued below 4,000 UF accounted for nearly 65% of sales, while the mortgage-rate subsidy has helped accelerate purchasing decisions and reduce available inventory.
Looking ahead, the report suggests that sustained financing conditions and continued absorption of existing stock could support the launch of new residential projects across the metropolitan region.
